Variety of food at breakfast, such as scrambled eggs, tea, slices of fresh bread, cereal, and fruit. A nice size and well decorated room, large bed and pillows. Location just off superb beach, the hill and beautifully maintained gardens...

Facilities were excellent for self catering and there was a shop 50meters from the hotel. The apartment was clean and spacious with a great view overlooking the pool. The pool was great and the beach was only a 10min walk. A shuttle bus was provided for transport in and out of tropea town. We loved the town itself and generally had a fantastic stay.

The hotel has a perfect and incredible location, adjacent to a good service into Tropea in the evenings. The beautiful Santa Maria dell'Isola church and Parghelia are nearby. It is conveniently located within a 10-15 minute walk from the restaurant Miseria & Nobilta.

We really enjoyed the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, they couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a lovely holiday. The pool was so well looked after and like the rest of the hotel pristine clean. Good choices at breakfast and great meals at the restaurant in the evening. Great location for Tropea and nearby beaches.

The hotel is located in a stunning location. The staff was really caring. There are good restaurant choices nearby, like Miseria & Nobilta. The included dinner at the hotel's restaurant was magnificent. The beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean.

The location of the hotel is great, being just close enough to the beach and town, but just far enough away to feel like you're in the country. The hotel grounds and pool are meticulously kept, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. The food at the restaurant is very good and very reasonably priced. We stayed at the "sister" property, which is on the same site, 2 years ago, and were so impressed with Parghelia/Tropea, here we are again! And, we hope to return next summer with our sons and their families. The Hotel Residencia Tirreno will definitely be our first choice for accommodation. Just hope that Tropea retains its true Calabrese nature, and doesn't become spoiled now that it has been "found" by an increasingly international clientele.
Our room at the hotel was quite small, making the storage of luggage a bit of a puzzle. The beds and pillows are a bit hard.

The hotel is in the perfect location near the heart of Tropea. It was extremely clean and the staff is exceptional in their efforts to serve thier clients in all circumstances. Good restaurant, free wifi, lovely private terrace in the apartment with a very nice view, fabulous swimming pool surrounded by a breathtaking garden. A fantastic stay! I recommend it for my family and friends.
